Jake
Hi, my name is Jake. I am an experienced support worker with over 8 years’ experience supporting people on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals living with mental health conditions and intellectual disability. I also have experience teaching music in youth justice settings.
I have a lived experience of neurodivergence, which informs my approach and supports my ability to bring empathy, understanding, and practical insight to my work.
Alongside my support work, I am an electronic ambient musician and work at MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio at Federation Square), where I explore my passion for synthesizers and sound design.
I am friendly, creative, and enjoy building positive, person-centred support relationships. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cycling, board games, and trying new experiences. I am also passionate about social and environmental issues and value inclusive, progressive approaches to support.
