Kimberly
Hi I’m Kimberly, I have built a meaningful career in the community services sector, grounded in a trauma-informed care approach. I began my journey as a Residential Youth Worker, where I supported young people with complex needs. Over time, I expanded my experience to working with individuals living with complex mental health conditions, both on-site and in more specialised roles.
I later worked as a Mental Health Practitioner, delivering psychosocial support through telehealth services and conducting client intake assessments. My experience also includes working on crisis centre hotlines, where I provided empathetic, person-centred support to individuals in distress.
In recent years, I have been working in scheduling and after-hours crisis support management, I pride myself on my empathetic approach and the insight I bring through my lived experiences, allowing me to connect deeply with and support others.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors - especially walking along the beach - and expressing creativity through cooking plant-based meals.
