Ria

Hi, I'm Ria! I'm a trauma-informed counsellor who is passionate about supporting people to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. I believe everyone deserves choice, control, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive, and I value social justice, advocacy, equity, genuine collaboration, and inclusivity in everything I do.

I hold a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health & Addictions. I also volunteer on the helpline with Chronic Pain Australia, where I provide support to people living with chronic pain.

Through my placements in primary and secondary schools, I had the privilege of working alongside neurodivergent young people and their families, which strengthened my commitment to person-centred, strengths-based support. I enjoy building genuine relationships and empowering people to achieve their goals, increase their independence, enhance their wellbeing, and enjoy everyday life.

Outside of work, I love reading, exploring nature on walks, trying new recipes, and dancing. I look forward to creating a safe, authentic, and enjoyable connection with the people I support.
