Somia

My name is Somia. I am a passionate and dedicated support worker who brings genuine care and a positive attitude to every role. I have experience supporting individuals with high and complex needs, including Epilepsy, Developmental delay, Dystonia, Behaviours of Concern (BOC) clients, Autism, Intellectual disability, Mild seizures, etc. I provide a wide range of support, including personal care, community access, and assistance with meal preparation. I have worked in both home and community settings and understand the importance of supporting clients with respect, patience, and professionalism. I take pride in creating a safe, positive environment and enjoy helping clients live with dignity and independence. Outside of work, I enjoy walking in green spaces, going on outings, discovering new places, snorkelling, and paragliding. I also love taking on challenges and exploring new experiences that push me out of my comfort zone.
