Vanessa C
Hi there! I’m Vanessa, and I’ve been working with people in the disability and mental health community for almost 20 years—it’s truly my passion! My goal is always to make sure my clients feel valued, heard, and supported. I love helping people grow, feel good about themselves, and connect with others in their own way. I’m compassionate, a good listener and love to promote self-independence and social inclusion.
I’ve had the privilege of working with all sorts of wonderful people—those with quadriplegia, paraplegia, autism, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, acquired brain injuries, dementia, and seniors to name a few, across all ages. I’m trained in first aid, catheter care, manual handling, medication, PEG feeding, and using C-PAP and BI-PAP machines to name a few, so you can feel confident you or your loved one are in good hands.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me soaking up the ocean breeze, hiking in nature, or hanging out with my family and friends—these moments recharge me to bring warmth and positivity to my work. I’m all about patience, kindness, and celebrating the unique strengths of every person I support. I can’t wait to get to know you and your family and work together to make a positive difference!
