Key Responsibilities

  • Personal care and daily living supportDomestic assistance and household tasks
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Transport and community access
  • Respite support for families
  • Supporting emotional regulation and responding to behaviours of concern
  • Following Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) and risk management strategies
  • Assisting with meal preparation and maintaining a safe home environment
  • Supporting participation in appointments and community activities
  • Maintaining accurate progress notes and incident reports
  • Working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, and the wider care team
  • Promoting a safe, respectful, and consistent support environment

About You

We are looking for team members who are:

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual
  • Compassionate and respectful
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries and accurate documentation
  • Experienced in supporting people with complex needs, or willing to learn
  • Confident following Behaviour Support Plans and care routines
  • Strong communicators who work well within a team

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
  • Infection Prevention and Control Certificate
  • Medication Administration Certificate (Assist Clients with Medication)
